FILLERS

            Dermal fillers are FDA-approved injectable gel used to hydrate and restore volume loss. As we age, we have bone reabsorption and loss of fat pads resulting in volume loss. Dermal fillers provide immediate volumization to treatment area while providing a youthful and hydrated appearance. With age we produce less substances that keep skin looking youthful and fresh including hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin. Fillers are composed of a synthetic version of these naturally produced substances proving immediate youthful appearances through hydration restoration of volume loss. Dermal fillers provide immediate resulting lasting 6-24 months depending on the product used and treatment area.

            Dermal fillers are contraindicated in the following populations: pregnant or lactating women, allergic to lidocaine or multiple allergies or high sensitivity to medications, active illness including cold and virus. Dermal fillers should be avoided two weeks of any dental work.

            Common side effects post treatment can include possible bruising, redness and treatment discomfort. We ask that treatments are planned at least two weeks before big events due to these possibilities. Rare but more serious complications include vascular occlusion and granulomas can occur. Proper precautions and protocols are in placed to minimize risk.

 

Lips

• Whether you want subtle volume, significant volume or an anti-aging lip by restoring hydration and volume loss we have the right treatment for you. Appropriate dermal fillers reestablish structure and restore hydration. Numbing cream or dental nerve block is offered at all appointments.

Cheeks

• Filler is used to lift and contour the cheeks and midface, which helps reduce the appearance of nasolabial folds (smile line) and hollowness around under eyes giving a refreshed youthful appearance.

Under Eyes

• Filler is used to diminish hollowing under the eyes giving a refreshed, more awake appearance. Often times midface volume loss / cheek filler is needed first or in combination.

Chin

• Whether a recessed chin is caused by genetics or standard facial aging, augmenting chin with filler restores facial balance and the appearance of chin and jawline resulting in a confidence and youthful appearance.

 Jawline Contouring

• A sculpted jawline is attractive for both men and women to define and thin the face. Jawline filler will give needed youthful appearance by adding structure and reducing jowling appearance.

Temples

• Through the normal aging process hollowness can appear in the temple areas. Filler or Sculptra can be used to revolumize the area.

Smile Lines

• Filler is used to rejuvenate the lower face including the parentheses that occur with smiling, the corners of the mouth and the vertical “smoker” line or “water bottle” lines that occur with aging. This is a customized treatment based off need.

Neck / Tech neck

• Tech neck? Horizontal lines that occur across our neck from aging but also from constantly looking down at our phones can be filled with fillers. Biostimulatory fillers, such as Radiesse or Sculptra, is a perfect treatment to build collagen and elastin by producing natural collagen to restore neck thickness and youthfulness. Botox can also be used to smooth lines in neck alone or in combination with fillers. Collagen induction therapy, such as microneedling is also an option.
